Got His Gym Confidence Back And Climbed Kilimanjaro!

“Mission Accomplished!

I first approached Steve back in March of this year. I’m in my mid-40’s, had never previously trained, and was very anxious about making a start. But I knew I had to do something, having recklessly agreed to climb Kilimanjaro with a friend in September. I needed some help.

Steve was understanding from the outset, set achievable yet useful goals during our 1-to-1 sessions, and helped me gain the strength I needed to to prepare for a significant personal and physical challenge.

On the early morning of 22nd September, after 6 days expedition, plus over 9 hours of overnight trekking and 1300m of ascent on summit night, I summited Kilimanjaro’s Uhuru peak. Mission accomplished!

I also continue to gain personal confidence through the gym work I’m doing with Steve. Next stage is to join the Wolf Pack group sessions. A short time ago that would have filled me with dread; now, I’m looking forward to improving my fitness further.
