One thing I’m hearing and reading a lot about right now… is
“I can’t wait for things to get back to normal”
And you know, I’m kinda the same…
Getting back to cricket
Eating in restaurants with the Mrs
Meeting mates for a coffee
I’ve barely left the house in weeks, to be honest.
What if things DON’T go back to normal?
What IF this IS the new normal
One thing I know for SURE
Things will NEVER be the same again
That leaves us, really with a couple of options
1- Hope, pray, wish and ‘wait’ for things to get back to normal (might never happen)
2- Adapt, pivot and adjust to what’s going on NOW
I choose option 2..
Option 1 is really out of my control
But one thing we’re ALWAYS in control of?
WHAT WE DO…OUR BEHAVIOUR
And I STRONGLY, STRONGLY believe…
That right now…
We’re all building out the NEXT PHASE of our lives.. (or not)
And what we do during this period?
Will have us set up to move forward (or not)
Whatever the future has in store?
